We drove up from Princeville for the day and it rained most of it, hard enough in the two hours before sunset that nobody else came up. My wife and I had the overlook to ourselves and warm clothes on, which is not what you pack for Hawaii. I had about ten minutes of that light and I'd have waited all day for it, which is more or less what I did.
